Hey!

I'm Robbie just new to forums and wanted to introduce myself. I'm a cyclist from Kings Lynn Norfolk UK!

I run www.ltdrobbie.org my blog about my cycling.

I have been cycling 2 years and have done some amazing trips like...

London to Paris 24 Solo and Unsupported
London to Brussels 24 Solo and Unsupported
10 Countries in 9 Days Solo and Unsupported
London to Alp D'Huez in Winter Solo and Unsupported
I broke the World Record for the most countries cycled in 24 hours Solo and Unsupported

I now do it for a living and am currently writing a book. Would love to chat to more cyclists and give any advice if needed and learn some more myself.

:welcome: Super website (even if @jay clock doesn't like the pop-up)
Look forward to reading your advice in these threads as "There’s not much [you] don’t know about bikes and Endurance riding" (please forgive if the tenor and context of self promotion doesn't smoothly translate when quoted).
Perhaps you might find it interesting to keep a note of the areas you "learn some more" about and let us know in, say, three months, when the clocks change.
I wonder how you accompany 5 riders LtB but ride at their pace. How do you manage to get people matched for pace in such groups?

Looking at your kit lists, how do you integrate your drinking bottles with a full frame bag and presumably a bag behind your saddle? Similarly how do you recommend integrating a bar bag with bar mounted front lights? Don't you think a chain tool is worth taking and do you really recommend carrying a spare chain? I see no patches. Finally, why do you recommend a helmet? Please answer on the helmet thread :hello:

Welcome aboard Robbie, and thanks for the opportunity for spending cash through your many affiliates.

I found your link about racing interesting ("Why every person should race at least once") but couldn't work out what kind of race you took part in. Was it a Crit?

I will PM you my sort code and account details, just take what you need.
I think it's a great idea that you could use my "donation" to piss off on your bike whenever you fancy.
I will also purchase say,a dozen t shirts,so my friends and family can share in your dream.
