Pump, lights and gloves for me. All look pretty good but going to test them latter. Front light is bloomin bright for that price level but the rear is a bit average and only has on/off modes.

Oh also got the Bib 'cycling suit' which is a bit baggy in places but will be perfect on cold winter days.

And some choc biscuits! YUM!

Whilst there I also nipped into aldi which is close by, picked up an excellent 'running' jacket for four pound in the clearance section. Same as a cycling jacket but without the back pockets

just been myself was etching to go since morning but had work...i got a jersey which seems alright i looked at the lights they a bit 'chunky' and the gloves seemed to big as well i prefer the smaller 'proper' gloves - i rode with gym gloves last time...

they have this two in 1 bag ..wow it turns from saddlebag to rucksack of some sort..properly rip if u aint careful...

was so tempted to get the spoke reflectors....reckon its worth buying?

do note i have a ss/fixed so that type of diy is ok if that makes sense

I bought some Glasses and pump, they didn't have any socks in stock.

The pump is pretty good, feels quite sturdy for £6 and the glasses aren't bad either, the foam insulating pad is better off left off as it is a bit bulky, although might be glad of it in the winter.

Just tried the pump out and it'll be OK for me - shrader, 80psi.

Wore the cycling trousers today for 23 miles and they were fine, though perhaps a little warmer than I expected. I got a medium (I'm about 34 waist) and it was fine even though it was marked 38 - 40 medium!

The pannier set was bigger than I expected and I will probably just use the side panniers mostly without the top bit. I didn't have quite the right rack so needed to add a bungee to help hold it in place, no problem.

Haven't worn the glasses or jersey yet and resisted buying the reflectors :stop:

Oh and the sockes were socks

I was going to get the panniers too but my local Lidl's is still being repaired after the national looting idiots week a few weeks back.

they looted Lidl? I see they go for high end gear round your neck of the woods then. In Birmingham they went for Primark
