O.k. so not much of a thread I grant you but just wondering if anyone had bought them already who might have a bit of a review. Although for the price I'm not expecting great things but it is a waste of money if they aren't at least fit for the purpose. More scintilating news on this matter as it occurs.

Just had a report in from Mrs T. Although she was able to get me some of the things I had requested, the panniers were not in stock at the store she went to.

I bought the glasses .. look Ok and have different darkness of lens but am disappointed there is no clear lens for cycling in low light where you need to keep flys out of your eyes

I find yellow to be better for all light conditions other than bright sunlight. I have yet to take the protective film off any of the clear lenses that have come with a pair of glasses.

I'm back and I got the panniers. For £17. they're pretty good. Quite a lot of capacity with the top case fitted and it is easily detatchable to use as a bag (or small suitcase as it is quite roomy)
It was easy to fit having only two velcro tabs to fasten around the rack. I am wondering if I might need to add some more anchor points at some stage but it seems stable enough for now.
I wanted to buy the glves and the pump and perhaps the lights but was severely cash restricted. I fear I may live to regret not just risking bankrupcy for the sake of the pump. I gave it a quick look over and it seemed pretty good. It was reasuringly heavy and for better or worse I always equate weight with quality (except in things specificaly designed to be light obviously) I think this is just a carry over from hi-fi and musical equipment where heavy stuff was usually good stuff. I digress, the pump looks a bargain so I'd like to hear from anyone who has bought and used one.

I was impressed by the look of the glasses and again think I may live to regret not buying them.

I bought one of the lidl pumps before and its a bit pernikety with presta, struggles to get above 85psi, I think if it did it would explode but its a good pump to leave lying around as a spare.

I feel a bit better knowing that it isn't totaly the dogs wotsits.

I was looking at the pump aswell but like you was strapped for cash. They had tons of them so hopefully can pick one up at the weekend when I get paid.
