I got diagnosed with cancer just over 12 months ago...........I had just built up to 40 milers.
Over the 12 months...During a series of operations and treatments I lost the will/drive to cycle. Funny, I always thought of myself as strong willed but it knocked the s^*#t out of me.
Anyway.......last Sunday I dusted the bike off and did a 10 miler..........boy was my bum bone aching:sad:. Sore bum apart I really enjoyed it and am doing another one tomorrow.
So......I'm back.........I think:rolleyes:

Good to see you back - alive and pedalling.

Hope you've got the all clear now.

Great to see you back. Having seen at 1st hand, over the past 6 months, how devastating cancer affects someone, it is great that you are able to cycle even 1 mile.

All the very best

Approaching perfection from a distance.
One reason I cycle is to prove to myself that I'm still alive!

Hurt can be good or bad. Having a sore bum after cycling definitely qualifies as the former.

Congratulations! :hello:
