He sounds a bit like my daughter... she started secondary school in Sept, by the end of day 2 she had lost a pair of shorts - turn out another girl had accidently taken them. Then it was the PE t-shirt, then the socks the next time.... and also one school book. Not bad for the first month - luckily everything has been recovered.
