I cycled 1000 miles with my cousin over 2 weeks, he wore a helmet 100% of the time he cycled and often as we walked around a place. I don't own one. On one of the very rare occasion that he wasn't wearing a helmet, he slipped in the bathroom and cut his head open badly. It shouldn't have, but it did..............made me laugh.
If you're riding outside Holland . . please wear a helmet!
