Tyres now fitted, sadly the back wheel was holed and badly buckled. As luck would have it though a recent purchase of this
meant it's temporarily lent it's back wheel to the BSA as it was identical. Gave it a very short test run today, also handy was the fact the Elswick had new shoes so the BSA stops considerably better now!
I don't want to use the Elswick as a parts source though if I can help it, so I'll try and put it at the back of the garage as a future doer-upper, again probably just enough for it to be useable.
Anyhow the BSA rode really nicely, very happy with it as it goes so might give it a run to work and back next weeks, minus the basket of course!
