good luck, fingers and toes crossed for your lambing!Nice one Ed! Lovely lambs. We are still waiting for our first one to pop - they usually start around 23/24th April so we are wondering when it will be! Couple of our big old ewes are looking extremely fed-up and the size of a sofa. I'll post a pic when we get our first - if all goes well, as I have to add just in case....
Well done Ed, thanks for the pix.
Could be triplets!First lamb just born a minute ago! About time too. Of course she's waited until dark is falling in the middle of a field *sighs*. Mr G is waiting to see if she's having another then we'll put them in a nice safe pen for the night. Phew!
Actually I may have spoken too soon. Apparently it's having trouble standing up (though I've seen that resolve itself before). We're going out again in 15 minutes to have a look, see if it's perked up and see if there are any more.Could be triplets!

I'm not optimistic. Looks like she's only having the one and frankly it's looking a bit weedy and floppy. We'll have to see if it's still alive in the morning, it could surprise us.
@young Ed, have you seen much Schmallenberg around? I can't see anything outwardly wrong, limbs all there and flexing but I wonder if it's just a duff one. That's the thing about lambing, can be great and can be a real downer. Usually a mixture of both, to be fair.
South West of the country, but only reported in cattle so farI'm not optimistic. Looks like she's only having the one and frankly it's looking a bit weedy and floppy. We'll have to see if it's still alive in the morning, it could surprise us.

Another new one to worry about. The list just keeps on growing, with even some of the old ones comimg back.
Sorry to hear that.Sadly the lamb didn't make it and she had another which was stillborn. I might stop the reporting till I have some better news!
