No, has better hills to climb than me, but I do get to a few, and they are easier, and a little quicker, as been mentioned, look back in a few months at your speeds up the hills and you will see, it has been a bad start to the year weather wise, I have found it easier to climb than to ride the flatter routes in the wind, rides are more intense, so to some degree a better work out.
This by the way is what strava is good for, not being the fastest, but see how you have improved, though sometimes you will still get shocking results were as a week before you set a p.b.

A couple of years ago, someone in my cycling group used to struggle and suffer on all the hills and when she'd got her breath back, would berate whoever had chosen the route (all in good humour). By the end of the summer, however, the telling off was heard loud and clear as we went up the hill.

She still doesn't enjoy hills but now proudly informs anyone who is struggling and/or despairing that the measure of fitness is how loudly you can complain whilst climbing :tongue:
