Picking lumps of glass and flint out from my tyres used to be a stress release. However when you see the fabric of the type breaking down like yours its time for a change.

Mine has both tyres (and wheels) rather fresh, however as mismatched as humanly possible - 25mm Gatorskin in the back, 23mm Pro4 Endurance in the front. Got to try the Marathon Plus when those wear out.

Totally trashed. The 'less worn' tyre is full of tiny glass cuts. You can see the state of some of the slashes on both tyres. This is from a shared path (3.5 miles of it).

It sort of explains why the Previous Pro4 Endurance tyres were slashed to pieces. Very happy with the Durano Plus. Just bought the newer Duano Plus Performance folding at 100g less (but still heavy at 340g).

How much! :eek::whistle:

My roadie came with those by default and I have to say they were good not one visitation, they just wore out!!

I did the same with a pair of (I seem to think they were) Schwalbe Blizzard, on one of my old commuting/winter bikes

I only looked when a collegues asked me where I'd ridden through paint:blush:
Then again, it showed how puncture resistant they were
