Totally trashed. The 'less worn' tyre is full of tiny glass cuts. You can see the state of some of the slashes on both tyres. This is from a shared path (3.5 miles of it).

It sort of explains why the Previous Pro4 Endurance tyres were slashed to pieces. Very happy with the Durano Plus. Just bought the newer Duano Plus Performance folding at 100g less (but still heavy at 340g).

Yup. The old ones have a yellow Etape on the side, the new ones a "P" for performance.

Had the same thing happen with one of my Touring Plus tyres. These brightly coloured p* protection layers (Continental's are yellow) make good wear indicators too, eh?

Good job you're always going too fast for me, mind. The commuter currently has mismatched hubs, rims, and tyres. Needs must when the devil drives, &c

They look like solid tyres.

Especially when under mudguards. I thought I'd get away with it a bit longer, but the blue is all the way round....

If I'd been 100% on main roads, my old tyres would be OK, but the Durano's are shredded. Only two punctures by glass that was rather large. Some seriously nasty cuts that would have written off my other tyres.

They do mean, going to the Pro 4 Service Corse tyres on latex tubes feel like riding on silk.
