Bees are like cyclists. If every one you encounter is angry and sweary/sting-y (delete as appropriate) then I don't think it's them that are the problem.

Slightly less funny. I've had a bit of a reaction but not at the sting site. Very large swelling just below the throat on the upper chest. Sting site was on the right side of my neck. So the poison was heading for my ticker.

My mates Dad got stung on the leg, right on the femoral artery. Kaboom! Heart attack about 2 minutes later. He survived and was fine, but was pretty narked about it.
