I Need a replacement for a Shimano 10 Speed R565 Crankset

Hi all,
As I'm a bit of a numpty I have cross threaded a pedal in the R/H crank of my Giant Defy 1 2014 Shimano R565 Crankset. I took it in to Woodrups and they say it needs a new crankset, which I expected to be honest. Apprently the only available replacement is a Tiagra as all the 105 stuff is now 11 speed. I don't think I want to downgrade to Tiagra but can anyone suggest a suitable replacement. I spoke to another LBS on Sat and they said the Shimano 105 5800 11 speed would fit fine but I have no idea. If it matters the cogs are 50-34 so it's a compact I believe.
Any help/info appreciated.
