I know it's Helfrauds but... is the Carrera Zelos Jr OK?

I am looking to get a road bike for my 8-yr old daughter and on a limited budget to get it past Mrs T.

Along with a helmet and proper cycling clothes I have a budget for the bike of £250 (tight I know) but was seriously looking at the Carrera Zelos Junior from Helfrauds (http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/..._165710?gclid=COqqjKCUv70CFefMtAodRUIA9w#tab1)

Taking their relative reputation away from it, anyone got any real feedback on this bike?
Personally - for the price point - I think the spec is quite good and I can easily overcome any lack of detail from their guys building the bike, however, you guys may have different experiences...

Carrera bikes generally offer good vfm if you are able to check it's all mechanically sound (and some Halfords staff are quite capable)

There is nothing wrong with it. There may also be a number of the 650c Triban's left also in the small sizes.

No experience of that bike but from what I gather Hellfrauds do quality, well specced bikes (Apart from Appollo) just the customer service/ shop build that might be dodgy.
