Me too. I like to move the blocks progressively closer too, as the wheel gets truer.
exactly how I do it, its worked for me for the last 30 odd years, and a perfectly good method. I can see the appeal of a trueing stand with disc specific wheels.
I have to tweak my Carrera TDF wheels fairly often, they're not much stronger than melting chocolate, although all my weight on them doesn't help, my Giant mtb has XT wheels and have never seen a spoke key or out of true.

I have trued the stock Giant wheels and the Fulcrum 7's that came with the Bianchi. The Zonda's, however, are spot on without any attention required!
