I just caught a bat!..

They wheel around outside our house every evening catching the insects, which are attracted by the lights. Totally silent and amazingly agile. If you throw a handful of gravel up they dart towards it thinking it's insects.

And after a while, they react as you would if someone offered you a box of After Eights with all the mints taken out, and the wrappers left in, and go berserk.

You are so going to get your neck bitten!

Digital yes, a Casio Exilim p600 which is a couple or three years old now, but I'm having trouble justifying a new one to myself. Although.. perhaps if I'd had a newer one I could've framed the bat better? Hmm yes.. And probably got it in focus too hMmMmm where's my credit card..
