Not sure, I've never hit the ignore button before. Being a man I have an uncanny ability to only see the bits I want to see, and hear according to my wife. I only know this because she tricked me into listening once.

So it would appear, yes. What you get whenever they post is a box at the bottom of the screen saying 'View Ignored Posts' or similar, so yes, you can see what they write, but still ignore them..... Which seems to defeat the purpose somewhat.
