I have just done 15.11 miles and am extremely pleased with myself. My last personal best was 12.4, so I'm getting there, slowly but surely.... :smile:

Very well done! I only managed 10 today as I am suffering from a particularly punishing hangover.

Well done on the 15 miler. You must be so chuffed.
We have a 17 mile ride planned for tomorrow (paper shop and back in the next village direct route too). Our aim is to break 20 in the next couple of weeks but I bet you get there first.

I am going to be middle aged v v soon, so I would love to be able to post v v soon that I have actually cycled 20 miles. Fingers crossed.......can anyone suggest a route around Essex for that distance, as I am v v bored doing the route that I'm going?????

Aim for a town / village with coffee shop / pub of good repute*, then plot a route there and back using BikeHike or one of the numerous other websites that tally your mileage.

*or odd sounding village name or view spot or whatever tickles your fancy
