As stated, I love my new pedals however is it normal that they flip upside down and you have to flip them over to get clipped in or am I doing something very wrong. I tried tightening them with an allen key but it does nothing they are Keo Look easy pedals if that helps. Thanks in advance.:shy:

Yes they flip round, why, physics  (most of the weight is in the clip/spring, so naturally this will be at the bottom).

Easiest way to clip in, slide foot forward, and catch the front lip with your cleat, pedal flips right way, so press down and you are in. Takes practice.

The allen key adjusts spring tension - so tighter means more secure grip on shoe !

I did think this was the case(Gravity). TBH I went out today and it wasn't as much of a problem, I must be getting used to it now. Thanks for the clarification though.^_^

Tightening them at the point where they meet the cranks wont do anything as they have bearings which will make them spin anyway. The other allen key bolt is for tightening the release, thus making it more difficult to snap in and out of them. Do as fossyant says
