I was once on holiday in Keswick with my now-ex and indulged in a few strong local ales on an empty stomach - they went straight to my head! We'd had our main course and I'd promised to buy her a nice dessert. She really liked the look of the sticky toffee pudding so I called the waiter over, and announced in a big booming voice which silenced the whole room: "My girlfriend fancies a big piece of Stiffee... ". In my horror, I stopped in mid-sentence. I tried again repeatedly, but I had a mental block and it kept coming out the wrong way...

We all did at the time too... My ex and stepdaughter were cracking up, the waiter looked like he was going to explode and I was purple-faced with embarrassment but laughing so much that the tears were flowing down my cheeks .

I noticed that. There's a distinct lack of enthusiasm for my attempted resurrection of Fist Of Fun. False Rod Hull is one of my favouritest comedy characters ever.

Sorry to disappoint you, but only yellow or blue qualify. Notorious Swedish art films of 1960s. The younger Steptoe became very excited by them, as I recall.
