Hybrid or Comfort ??

Her Indoors currently has a Giant Rock SE mtb-since having a replacement knee she feels that it is 'a' too heavy 'b' difficult to get on and off.
I have suggested a 'step-through' Hybrid and she has been looking at Comfort bikes.
Whatever she gets will be used mainly for smooth trail riding with a few excursions onto forest paths and some cinder or compressed rubble sort of tracks.

If a hybrid isn't comfortable enough I would suggest she tried a few different styles in your lbs and find the one she likes the most.
