Only just caught this thread as well, would still have missed it as I'm back in Norway at work again anyway. Maybe the next one......
Did have a ride out to middle of the bridge for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Took me a while to find the path across the bridge - didn't find it particularly well signed from the Foreshore.
