1. Buy packet of Rolos
2. Eat all but one of the chocolates
3. Post last Rolo to loved one in small box

Thus - you've enjoyed the chocolate too, the postage is minimal, and the sentiment is there too.

Then, clean sheets on the bed, fluff the pillows and get ready for your lady to return to you and swoon into your arms for a night of passion (assuming she's still attracted to your huge chocolate-induced-belly)

Win - win!

I like that idea... and you could put part of a message with each one:biggrin:

But why are you trying to post them... surely you should be getting dressed up in your finest black lycra and balaclava and scaling buildings instead... And all because .....

... the lady loves milk tray

if i could, i would be riding there (possibly with a little help from the train, however i've two weeks in which to complete a 10 week project that determines my final degree classification. hence posting them.

we're waiting the three months until we're married for that

I'd say just sling them in a jiffy bag and save your money.

I mean Roses are cheap chocs and so you may as well carry on the trend with the posting.

Surely you should be looking to buy and send better choc's to show how you really feel, but there again maybe you are showing your true feelings

Whatever way you send them, the recipient will still end up having to take a morning off work to traipse down to the local post office to pick them up.

One at a time in packages small enough to fit through the letter box is sweet but will cost many times more the chocs are worth and no good if there is a dog in the household.

Delivered by hand, with flowers, is much nicer.

she's at her parents' place which normally has someone downstairs in the office to receive post for the whole place so no worries there.

in terms of cost, its just a little something to say i'm thinking of her - not her birthday or anything
