I have had a mate have to stop coming down Alpe D'Huez because his tub glue was melting, and had to let them cool down,.

Today I've practiced by pressing both brakes slightly intermittently while descending.... it was much slower than earlier and I'm feeling quite better now!

I wasn't saying it in particular to the OP but to anyone in general; who may be riding big hills/mountains.

You can't beat a good tub, still prefer them over clinchers & tubes but then I still ride steel :evil:
