OK - I know it is weightless, but what I'm after is how many calories are there in a poound / kilo of fat and what would be the weight of glycogen needed to provide the same amount of calories?
Then, when you use that energy, does the weight leave your body or do metabolytes (sp?) remain in your system?
I'm wondering because I'm contemplating hydration requirements during exercise and wondered if a straight forward weight balance (1kg of weight loss means 1L of re-hydration needed) would work.
