I tend to do that, but cycling is sticking around. I think as when I'm bored mountain biking I ride on road more, bored with those I now do cross. It's just all different!

Actively doing:
House restoration
AmDram
Studying
Producing fire wood for others

I wouldn't class cycling as a hobby as I do it for the same reasons I drive and that isn't a hobby any more.

When I was a kid I used to do lots of juggling, unicycling, diabolo etc. Then it started to totally bore me so I stopped (but I still have the reactions - bonus!).

Now, apart from the obvious - photography, art, swimming, writing, advanced retail therapy.

A bit more than 5 years (8), but I've given up:

Squash
Badminton
Karate
Running
Rock/Snow & Ice Climbing

Due to knee injuries resulting in 3 ACL repairs, 3 arthroscopies currently suffering from early stage arthritis.

WW canoeing had my ear drilled last week for surfers ear - but the other one may need doing sometime.

Don't ride the mountain bike as hard as I once did, more xc type stuff now.

Still ride on road, easyish mtb stuff and play the guitar.

Not quite ready to take up golf yet though!

I've always had three or four hobbies that I do in turn, as I get bored with each I stop doing it for a bit. Cycling I don't really count as a hobby, it was always more about a means of transport for me. The only thing I can think of that I've actually given up is home brewing, and that's only because I haven't had the space. When I move into the new house I might get back into it.
