How low do I go?

When on the drops my knees are inside my elbows, maybe a 3-4 inch over lap.According to my own bodge based on cycle fit websites my fit is ok afaik but never had a fitting as no one does them round here.

When I had my bike fitting I ended up with about the same sort of knee/elbow overlap. In fact if I don't have that sort of overlap I'm so stretched out it's uncomfortable.

i am 5ft 10 and currently ride a 54 depends on how long you are in the arms really, as jimboalee said its the position your in on the hoods for comfort really.

Yep, go for comfort on the hoods. Figure out your own comfort based on your own needs, riding style, distances ridden, etc.

No one can really dictate exactly what this will mean for you beyond basic fitting tips.

I gave them a email and they said they only do a bike fit if you buy one of their frames ,minimum of £600 so its an expansive way to get a fitting
