I have a theory...

Leaping off mountains attached to a hang glider, smashing yourself up, and being unable to ride your bike for a considerable time just might have had something to do with that...?

Hmm, you might have a point there. I've bought another glider now too - so I've got a spare one for whenever I have my next accident.
