Reading that article I have to wonder why people still choose to use Evri, I wouldn't send anything with them (all my e bay sales are Royal Mail) and any company that only delivers using Evri doesn't get used.
Since I have moved I’ve had anyone shipping anything to me have them delivered to an Argos that I pass on my way to and from work. Evri seems to be the most common choice for this and it’s proven to be much quicker and a lot more reliable than have them try to deliver to my home.
An Ama zon purchase was due yesterday twixt 17:00 & 19:00.
Message at 17:31 said they tried delivering but were unsuccessful. Little fibbers: our cameras showed no-one anywhere near the property 10 minutes either side of that. Email said they'd try to deliver today.
Knock on the door @ about 20:30..Parcel on the doorstep and the sound of a car driving away 😂

I only buy stuff from Amazon if it is small enough to fit in an "Amazon locker" at my local supermarket. That system seems to work.
Most online purchases now, I get them delivered to work where we have a staffed reception area. Difficult for the courier to claim there was no-one in.
For the retail punter what options for sending parcels are there, I know Evri and Royal Mail but I presume all the others (DPD etc) are just for businesses or am I wrong in presuming that?
