just to forewarn everyone, on June 19th 2012 I will be at 2860m (Cime de la Bonette) in my Fridays Jersey.

If somebody beats me there, or finds some US, Andean or KKH pass to upsurp me, good luck to them.

Chris

Whilst some of you are LONJOG'ing I was prebooked for the Alps.

The snow stopped us riding up the last bit, the 'Cime' so the Col de la Bonette at 2715m is my peak for this year.

Good effort but bad luck that the Cime was still blocked (highest paved road in France innit ?) - hope you enjoyed the downhill !
Fantastic downhill, from 2715m to 0m (Nice), feels like it never ends, and now I know how to locate the cycle path into Nice, all is good.
30C as well.
Back in raining UK now.....

Around 30 Friday shirts each climbed over 11,000 metres or 1.25 Everests last week. We await photographic evidence by Ian of Charlie's Garmin ...

Prize to be shared this coming Friday night?

It's a bit more complicated than that...
And if those of you who don't have a Friday's shirt yet would like to give Mr DZ enough incentive to place another order, those of us who didn't get our arses into gear last year can make the total up to 36!

I haven't yet tidied up the points, so the maximum speed isn't entirely reliable yet. And this excludes quite a hilly 18 miles!

I'd take another (only this time long sleeve and full zip...)

is there a long(er) zip short sleeve option?

and Jim owes me my a short zip/sleeve shirt back
there is, but it's not at all flattering. 'Teef carries it off, but he's a lot bigger across the shoulders than he is around the middle.

I can live with the unflattering visuals. For a really hot day, remember them, the short sleeve short zip combo is a little too short in the zip.
