How do you love on your bike(s)?

Really like my bike. It's probably love.

Was just out adjusting the direct mount brake (had to look at an Art's Cyclery video and learned what the smallest little screw on the side was for) and then wiped the bike down.

Love cleaning and caressing that bike with some wax. Like riding around with it too.

How do you show your bike some love? Do you buy it new things? Or are you one of those that beats your bike and it still loves you?

At the height on our mountain bike obsession my brother and I wrote to our Mum and told her we were having dreams about riding our bikes down rocky tracks as they bucked beneath us, brakes squealing, then getting home and lovingly caressing their bottom brackets, pumping their tyres and tweaking their spoke nipples. There was a puzzled silence then a few days later I received a serious letter suggesting we ought to see a psychologist.
