If the tool does not fit then you need one that does. I would suggest give the lbs a fiver.

There are a few YouTube vids on it, I use a vice like most others do. If it is tight I will get the impact wrench on it.

You never said, but its the closest I found on what I could see, It seems to have 24 splines in which case this could be it
Normandy/Schwinn large diameter splined 5-speeds 24
does it say Maillard on it in which case this is the freewell
and this is the tool

..a long way from somewhere called Home..
finally the correct answer..up above ...not the wd40 one

its a Maillard freewheel
and its a 24 spline Normandy removal tool

put the tool in a vice - a solid bolted to the bench vice jobbie
turn the wheel anti-clockwise

be prepared to fail............it will be tight tight tight
