The Burton's Tailors shop was in Gold Street but was destroyed by an RAF bomber that crashed into it during the war ~ Local rag linkie ~
I'm not sure what it used to be but will do a bit of research at some point 👍

Another surviving Art Deco cinema is the Everyman cinema in York - which was also an Odeon in the past
