Life is too short to spend it at work.
Not a chance that will be signed off at our place!I've just seen this page about which days to book off work next year (from the Metro) https://metro.co.uk/2019/09/03/how-...-simply-taking-15-days-annual-leave-10677229/

I really enjoy my work.
I could have chosen to do that from 1991. The good thing is that I can choose to do it any time I want, but it would bore me.Me too. Mooching, reading, snoozing, cycling, shooting, and I get to choose exactly when I do any of these things. I even get paid. Its great!

Totally agree. My life is full now. I have projects on the go which I just about find time to do. If I could retire tomorrow (and be able to afford to live) I'd have no trouble filling my days. Unfortunately I have to work 9-5 for the next 15 years at leastIf you cant fill your free time with satisfying and absorbing things to do then I would suggest a deeper malaise, a whole life adjustment problem or somesuch.
mine either and we are only allowed so many off at one time , apart from shutdowns were booking full weeks for next year atm and if 2 people want it you have a 50 % chance of getting it.Had to try to book school hols mrs ck cant get off.It doesn’t work with my shift patterns. I can get 12 days off for the price of 4, if I get my days off right, around certain bank holidays though.
