I've repaired shrots and gloves by sticthing on bits of lycra - keep the thread as slcak as possible as it it this than can rip when the garment is strtched. I'd be wary heating up lycra with iron for the wonder web stuff but it may be ok.
Thanks every body. Sewing was never my forte so I am going to try the wundaweb appraoch and iron on. I guess that should work to support a scuffed area of another pair.
I had an "off" recently so have three tears in my relatively new dhb bib tights (the largest only being about 1.5cm, so not too bad). I'd be interested to know how we'll the Wundaweb repair worked and whether it lasted. I have an old pair of bib tights (also with tears from a crash) so could use a patch from them instead (or as well). Any other tips would also be appreciated.
