Either way, its a nice paintjob. Most non-factory and DIY lug lining looks terrible, but its really tidy on this beastie.
Holdsworth did very little in the way of true custom builds throughout the 70s, with most being as Midlife alludes. 1974 seems to the big exception, but its unknown then how many were made.
Much of the spec has been chopped and changed over the years, and very sympathetically at that, which aids rideability but obscures the bikes original spec. Im afraid that with records as patchy as they are, and with the known inconsistences in the Holdsworth/CB frame numbering, as well as frames sometimes languishing for years before being built up into a finished bikes, you're not likely to discover much more about the bike with any degree of certainty.
