Hmm strange issue with my vision

Decades ago I had something weird happening with my sight. Honestly, can't remember the symptoms but I was feeling pretty panicked. I rang the eye hospital, and a nurse asked me a very short list of questions like "do you have diabetes?" When I didn't have any condition that would lead to sight loss they told me to wait and see if it went away. It did. For good.

Shaun - that is spot on for the symptoms I experienced. Have had a slight nagging headache as well but I feel fine now. Interestingly, dehydration could be part of my issue.

Though, exercise is on the list too. I think I'll have to take a break from the cycling for a day or two. I've done a fair number of miles in the past week for a newbie!

Go to your nearest eye hospital and get a proper diagnosis asap.

18 years ago I had similar symptoms, my GP and optician both said I had floaters/debris.

The sympons persisted, I went to casualty at Basingstoke Hospital's eye department, they found it was a detached retina.... I now have very limited vision because of the delay in proper diagnosis.
