right I had flu ages ago, laid me up for a week or so and was generally gay but not too memorable (code for I forgot in a drunken haze)

this Tuesday afternoon I felt a bit rough and had a blinder of a headache, went to bed fairly early with some drugs. Wednesday was pain and a darkroom, Thursday was officey crap at home and prepping for todays half day shoot.

Symptoms were appalling headache, nausea (actually thought I was about to vom type nausea), a weird joint ache, dark urine (like super dark despite drinking 2l of water in the evening/overnight, but later was clear and oscillated between the two) dark/black stool and feeling like a bag of shite

Today (Friday) I felt a wee bit rough but got going anyway and by the end of the day I was a bit shagged (surprisingly so for a relaxed shoot)

Now I have a relaxed 4 mile ride at 10ish (downhill) to cover my mums shop followed by a less relaxed 4 mile ride home up a massive hill (in my defence I'm fat, out of shape and they're really really steep) before going out for my brothers hateful birthday thing in the evening. Do I blag a lift?

decision made by sleeping in so late that I needed to leave before I got up

the urine and stool symptoms have gone away but if they come back then I'm probably going to the dr, in general fairly sanguine about stool symptoms as I have IBS so get a whooooole load of them but the urine one is a bit new

As long as I breathe, I attack.
I got back on the bike too soon after the flu, I always do, so im not a good person to ask LOL

With petrol prices and only 1 car i am the same and i am sure it takes longer to recover.

If in doubt be a lay about (take the car ) would be my motto if i had a choice.
