Hope they find “Serious Arthritis” ... in your hip ....
Thats what Julie was diagnosed with ....
Yes, that's what I hope! If they don't it'll be physio' and painkillers till I do develop 'serious arthritis!

Now that you mention it, I remember the doctor saying something about Osteoporosis, or maybe it was osteoarthritis.🤔
More likely osteoarthritis if talking about a replacement, although you could have osteoporosis too (brittle bone disease).

There was one patient I was talking to before we were called in who was in for a possible knee replacement. He was a former rugby league player which he said led to his eventual bad knees. I saw him on the way out. He was very disappointed saying he had to lose another 4 or 5 stone, on top of the 3 he'd lost already, before they'd replace his knee joint. I won't have any problems in the weight, surgery refusal department. Although I have put a quarter of a stone on in a year, making me 11.25 stone in weight.

It could be anywhere? How would I know?
Having OA doesn’t preclude osteoporosis or vice versa. They’re different diseases. One loss of articular cartilage on the bones, the other loss of bone density

Do you mean in the hip, or just in general? I do have it in my lower back.
Have you had a DEXA scan? That's the only way to know.
