An up date on my Hill Special , had more time recently due to lock down to get on with my Road Path ,so using oxalic acid I have dipped as much of the frame as possible in it and cleaned it up as best as I can then plenty of elbow grease and autosol got it looking reasonable ,nothing like it would once have looked but ok ,transfers on and a moment of pure joy as I peeled of the protective top sheet on the head badge transfer and it had all worked ,really pleased with the result . Will you be just clear coating?

Yes I clear coated it Yesterday mainly because there is a lot of exposed metal work where the oxalic acid did its work and to protect the transfers. The photos don't reveal a lot of the blemishes but to me they are part of its character, because it has been emery papered in the past the chrome no longer has the high shine and it has the look of brushed steel or titanium, so nothing like as good as new but an apceptable finish that hides non of its history.
