Fibre flares on the seat stays?

Last winter, I saw on regular occasions, a member of (as it turned out) Calder Clarion, who had those fancy 'strobe'/LED rings/clip-ons mounted on the spokes

Very noticeable!!!
Something like this, but maybe not the same?

@YukonBoy you're preaching to the converted. I've got some fibre flares and really like them. My "a bit pricey" comment is based on my memory of going "ouch" when I bought them but it was a couple of years ago.

Do the panniers have a loop to put a light through ?
I run a led flasher on the seatpost along with one of these on each bag giving me a triangle of rear light .
mid winter dark i also have one on my helmet
4 x on my CGR (F & R), plus 2 in each direction on helmet

I use cateye lights for this. They do an adaptor which screws in to the standard size rack fittings which lets you use any of their lights.

Thanks for that
Although, having taken one of my rears off to charge, when I got home @ 20:45, & looking at it, it may work on the uprights of the rack?
I'll have an examination, in the morning

I have two of these, as half of my four
If it fits well enough, I'll get her a couple of them

I had a look, when I let the Dog out this morning, & took it off charge (the light. not the Dog!)
With the standard silicone band. it's slightly loose & may move
However, with tie-wraps, it ought to stay in place. I'll fit one on each side (probably the same as I have, as linked in the quote)
Maybe a 3rd on the rack 'rear plate'?

As your senior manager seems to wear a helmet, I'd go for rear rack mounted main light with a helmet mounted backup.

I use one of these, pricey but perfect. Cheaper options are available, particularly if you only want rear facing.

I keep looking for some more of these in Lidl
I left work at circa the same time, as most visitors last night, so had them on
This was mainly so I could look directly at any drivers, exiting the car-parks, & hope that they noticed 2 x strobing lights

The rears were flashing too, as my first 1/4 mile or so, is where a lot of silly passes take place, to try & get to a roundabout first

I'd leave the triangle on & drill through it, but be careful as t will be brittle plastic

Yes, but I think, as I wrote immediately above your suggestion. I'll probably get a pair of the same lights as I use, & tie-wrap them to the uprights of the rack

it has 2 mounting holes already in it

And, whilst looking of illustratory images, I found this one from a visit to King's Lynn, back in January
(she was doing some consultancy work, so I drove her down, thus she could sit in back with lap-top, & would probably have it all finished by the time we arrived home)

It's one way of mounting to a pannier!
Note the Ever-Ready lights still in use too!!
Probably still in stock/on sale, down there too!!

And, yes!, at the front of the bike, there's also...…...

I have a set of these Monkey lights on my front wheel on the winter bike.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/MonkeyLectric-Unisexs-M204-Wheel-Multi-Colour/dp/B00O4B1TRE?ref_=ast_bbp_dp

They are about to go into their third winter & a set of batteries lasts ages. They are brilliant for side-visibility at roundabouts & junctions and good fun too.

At this price I might get another set for the back wheel just for giggles.
