Been heading up through Wimborne and then around the villages of Holt, Witchampton, Gaunts common etc, 20 odd miles, I have also been over on the ferry and out to Corfe and back.

The New Forest is also nice as you can get away from the traffic and enjoy the scenery, I need to get over there more often, if you fancy a ride out let me know, Im only a beginner mind so won't be setting a hot pace !

I worked in Poole for a couple of weeks. I have to say that it blew my preconceptions of the area. I found it very friendly and good company was to be had almost everywhere. House prices a bit scary though!

Know what you mean Gerry, I moved down here a couple of years ago from Notts and took a bit of a hit on the mortgage front, there not all bad these southerners ! ;)
