My name is Nicky and I am from just outside Chelmsford. I am looking to join a friendly cycle club that cycles on Sunday. I am not super fit but love cycling. Just looking for a nice club to spend some Sunday's with.

Hi @Nicky666 Plenty of club and casual rides in Essex, and Chelmsford's a great place to cycle. There is a big club in Chelmsford. Just down the road in Billericay ( depending on where you are in relation to the town) There's a club run on Sundays and a short run from the local bike shop on Saturdays at the moment

hi Nicky, I am in Glendene who meet at Blackmore but its on a saturday and the club only does one group and its fairly quick and can be long 50-90 miles and can turn into a race towards the end. I hear good things about Essex roads Club who do around 3 different levels of rides and thier social and novice ride is 30 miles.

Hi, I have done in the past but various other commitments meant I never kept it up.
There's a novice ride 1st Sunday of the month (Although a social 30mile on theremainding Sundays) but 7th June is also the Orchid charity ride so there may be some impact on numbers.
Have a look at the Billericay shop's ride (YellowJerseyGB) on Twitter - they do a leisurely 20-25ish mile ride each Saturday at 9:00
