OOC testing must be incredibly difficult, time-consuming and prohibitively expensive as the article suggests. Imagine the logistics and costs sending a tester on a convoluted set of flights to a mountain village in Colombia.

Bit controversial this but I wanted to share a question that's been rolling around my head for a while.

Could Henao's blood anomalies have any connection with Froome and Porte's relatively poor showings and withdrawals this season?

Whilst I can be best described as a bit of a Sky fanboy... And a Brailsford fan boy also, I have been wondering about the rather large number of illnesses and last minute withdrawals from Team Sky recently.

I think I read that Deb has commented that they seemed invincible (health wise) in previous years and now cannot string two healthy days together.....

And do we actually gave any updates on the Henao situation? Or even JTL?

As tenuous connections go, that's possibly a contender for a podium. I'd let that thought roll away towards the junk folder!

They train together so it's likely that the same bug may be passed around.

Henao, as per the links, is undergoing further tests, read that how you will but the previous links are well worth a scan and JTL's hearing was scheduled for around now.

The Tour de Romandie starts tomorrow with both Froome and Porte in the SKY team. Given the pre-eminence of the Tour de France in SKY's race schedule, that Froome & Porte have been out, I can well believe SKY believe Romandie is an important race to get right. It is just a guessed rationale but if Froome does well this week then all will be on track for them.
