Hello,
I just tried to take the bashguard (Blackspire C4) from my bike and realised that I must first remove the crank arm.
I have done some research and it turns out I have a self extracting crank arm.
I have tried with all my might to get it to come free both ways on both sides but it isn't budging.
I really need some help as I am stuck with what to do.
Thanks.

can you post some picture? A self extracting crank should be dead easy to get off, provided it is assembled disassembled correctly.

What chainset has your bike got, specifically? Bb
It has a howitzer spline bb

Looks like the same as the octolink that requires the hole in the spindle to be blocked to get the crank arms off.
I've never worked with your one before though so could be completely wrong
