Slightly on topic. Can you shift 2-3 cogs at a time?

SRAM (AFAIK, as a SRAM Red user) shifts to harder gear at the back one at a time, but can shift up to an easier gear 3 cogs at a time. When shifting to harder cogs, the shifter has no redundant movement (unlike Shimano) and a short throw, it is like pressing a button, so you can make multiple shifts very quickly. I find shifting to a harder gear, especially multiple shifts much more rapid than Shimano systems, but not as smooth and the shift is accompanied by an audible clunk, which I like.

I would hazard a guess at technique. I think the solid clunk when you change from big to small gives the impression that the other way will be just as solid. If you are somewhere around the middle of your cassette and ease off the pedals while still turning as you change and the problem persists then it is mechanical.

In between here and there
One of my bikes had a mix of SRAM but the front derailleur was a microshift which was cack once I got shot of that it worked fine.

.I have never had my greasy paws on doubletap shifters, neither riding or adjusting so I am not much help, but I will guess it is either front shift cable or front derailleur needs a little adjustment
