Summer time I carry a cheap 100g plastic 'get me home' Zefal.

Now its winter I'm carrying my 280 gram(with guage) Turbo Morph.
I have had it for 6 so far reliable years and is the close to being a 'track pump for the bike'.
Parts are easily available too so it might just last a lifetime.

Suffice to say I do not have a track pump.

BTW the Mountain Morph is only £21 at CRC.
Same length I think, but a few grams less. It still claims it can do 160 psi !

After help from my similar posting http://www.cyclechat.net/threads/what-road-bike-pump-for-on-the-bike.112193/ I went with the Leyzne Road Drive for keeping on my T3. I have tried it at home and it is effective and I had few issues getting upto 80psi (I have a bad left wrist, so anything passed that was difficult). We keep a track pump at home with a guage for ease (which is how I know how far I had inflated the tyre).

Most quality mini pumps will get you up to 70_80 psi, but it does require a fair bit of effort. Having ridden with 2 riders that suffered a visit, and then tried to use there cheap nasty pumps, before I got mine out
.... The lezyne enabled us to continue our rides. It wasn't a case of having just enough air in the tyre to get us home.

Both owners then used a proper track pump to get the tyre up to 100 psi once the ride was completed and back home.
