Hey guys,

Looking to buy a pump, or even two (track? And a mini pump). I'm using a friends hand pump at the moment, but this doesn't really get the pressure I think I need? Any tips on what to look for. Im on quite a budget, but could possibly rope "Santa" into this. I ride a Triban 3, not sure if that makes a difference.

Cheers!

They all look pretty nifty, thanks. Was thinking I may have to spend a bit extra on a hand pump to get them pumped a bit quicker.

On the subject of the CO2 one, how does all that work? Does it get expensive having to buy the refills?

Have had to use mine when friends i ride with get punctures. They huff and puff with those cheap ones and barely get 40psi .... my one gets them to 70-80psi so we can continue the ride
At home i have a joe blow II trackpump. Excellent bit of kit for inflating the tyres up to 100-120 psi

I recently had an out and out failure to pump (at all) for a roadside puncture. There is only one thing worse than a puncture and no pump...and that is having ONE THAT DOESN'T WHEN YOU NEED IT!

I have since bought a Lezyne mini HP drive pump. Tiny-tiny.....but has more than enough oomph to get your (road) tyres to a rideable pressure...and (and this is, I think, a significant feature) it has an old skool flexible abs connector (schrader one end-presta the other) that is just SO much better than the clip and pray connectors you now see on virtually every other pack-pump these days.

I Like.

Your describing my pressure drive pump ... small enough to fit in my saddle bag, with patches, spare tube, levers, phone & cash. I never ride without that saddle bag!
