Help with gearing before I go to the LBS

Yes this was something I spotted, I suppose I can adjust this and then reset the cable.

Yeah. I go for as close as possible without touching the highest tooth on the large chainring. Use a 2p or 5p as a feeler gauge

I usually use a 2p piece when setting the hight, I tend refer to the park tools sheet to check what I've done.

Thanks for the link, yes my height was way out, supposedly the bike shop checked all the gears before shipping.
