Help - I think ive killed my carbon forks

Ive stupidly tightened the fork tensioner bung in to the top of the steerer tube on my 3T Funda carbon forks without having the top cap in place first and it now appears to be completely stuck!!

Ive screwed in teh tensioner screw a little and then tried pulling on the screw with plier's but it aint budging.

Anyone got any idea's?

Try unscrewing the screw until it is held only by four or five threads, gently tap the screw back into the steerer. You should then be able to ease the bung out. Do not pull on the screw.

Alternatively you may be able to tap it all the way through the steerer and retrieve it between the fork blades.

^^^^ wot he said - undoingthe bolt to pus the expanding part down should do the trick - it may not be possible to push it thourgh the forks steerer as the end of the tube may not be open.
